Role Overview:
The Hostel Warden is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the hostel, ensuring discipline, safety, and a comfortable living environment for residents. The role involves supervision, administration, and coordination to maintain smooth functioning of hostel activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage hostel residents, ensuring discipline and adherence to rules and regulations.
- Maintain a safe, secure, and hygienic hostel environment.
- Monitor entry and exit of students and maintain attendance records.
- Address and resolve student concerns, complaints, and conflicts promptly.
- Coordinate with management regarding maintenance, housekeeping, and security requirements.
- Conduct regular inspections of rooms and common areas.
- Ensure proper implementation of hostel policies and guidelines.
- Maintain records related to occupancy, visitors, and incidents.
- Organize meetings or activities to promote a positive living environment.
- Handle emergency situations and report incidents to higher authorities.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Graduate in any discipline (mandatory).
- Prior experience as Hostel Warden / Residential Supervisor preferred.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to stay on campus .
