Position Objective:

The Head of Live Operations & Broadcasting will oversee the day-to-day functioning of live and recorded sessions, ensuring smooth execution, punctuality, and professional standards. This role requires strong leadership, operational coordination, and the ability to lead a team that manages multiple live classes and events efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and supervise the Live Operations team and Video Editors responsible for all live and recorded sessions.
  • Oversee the daily schedule of live classes, ensuring every session starts and runs on time.
  • Coordinate with technical, academic, and content teams to ensure seamless session execution.
  • Monitor live sessions in real time, ensuring adherence to quality and operational standards.
  • Identify and resolve any workflow or coordination issues swiftly to avoid session disruptions.
  • Track and improve team performance, response time, and operational efficiency.
  • Ensure documentation, reporting, and escalation protocols are consistently followed.
  • Plan and execute strategies to enhance the overall live experience for students and faculty.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in live operations, studio coordination, or broadcast management (preferably in education, media, or digital platforms).
  • Strong leadership and team management skills with proven ability to handle fast-paced operations.
  • Good understanding of live streaming or broadcasting processes (no hands-on technical expertise required).
  • Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience managing schedules, operational workflows, and cross-team coordination.

Preferred Backgrounds:

Candidates who have previously worked in live operations, studio coordination, production control, or content operations—especially in education, edtech, or news media environments—will be preferred.
