About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and target-oriented Sales Team Leader to lead and manage a team of business development executives in the EdTech domain. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in sales along with the ability to guide and drive a team toward achieving consistent results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, manage, and mentor a team of 5+ sales executives (BDEs)
  • Drive daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets for the team
  • Actively participate in sales activities, including outbound calls and lead conversion
  • Monitor team performance and provide continuous feedback, coaching, and support
  • Ensure effective lead management, follow-ups, and conversion tracking
  • Implement strategies to improve team productivity and overall sales performance
  • Maintain and present reports on team performance and sales metrics
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align sales efforts with business goals

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in sales, with prior team handling experience
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Hands-on experience in tele-calling / inside sales / business development
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Fluency in Malayalam and English is mandatory
  • Target-driven mindset with the ability to perform under pressure
  • Ability to motivate and drive team members to achieve goals
  • Basic knowledge of CRM tools and sales tracking systems is an added advantage

Preferred Profile

  • Experience in the EdTech industry or similar service-based sales environment.
