About the Role
We are seeking a strategic and detail-oriented Finance Manager to oversee the organization’s financial operations. This role involves financial planning, compliance, internal controls, and management reporting, while supporting leadership with data-driven insights for business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Planning & Strategy
- Develop financial strategies aligned with business goals.
- Prepare budgets, forecasts, and financial models.
- Monitor financial performance and provide actionable insights.
- Support new initiatives through feasibility and investment analysis.
Accounting & Financial Reporting
- Manage daily accounting operations including AP, AR, payroll, and reconciliations.
- Ensure timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Maintain compliance with accounting standards and statutory requirements.
- Strengthen internal financial controls.
Cash Flow & Fund Management
- Manage cash flow and working capital to ensure liquidity.
- Monitor fund utilization and banking operations.
- Coordinate with banks for credit facilities and financial arrangements.
Taxation, Audit & Compliance
- Ensure timely filing of GST, TDS, PF, ESIC, Income Tax, and other statutory returns.
- Liaise with auditors, consultants, and regulatory authorities.
- Lead internal and external audits and manage financial risks.
Management Reporting & Decision Support
- Prepare MIS reports, variance analysis, and key financial metrics.
- Support pricing, cost optimization, and profitability analysis.
- Provide financial inputs for strategic decision-making.
Team Leadership & Corporate Governance
- Lead and mentor the finance team and ensure timely reporting.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to improve financial outcomes.
- Ensure compliance under the Companies Act and maintain audit readiness.
- Support policy development related to finance and procurement.
Qualifications & Experience
- CMA (India), OR
- CA Intermediate (Both Groups Cleared), OR
- CFA Charter holder, OR
- MBA (Finance) from a recognized institution
- Minimum 4+ years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, or financial management.
- Mandatory hands-on experience with Zoho Books.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial statements, taxation, and statutory compliance.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, financial modelling, and reporting tools.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
